Live Tonight: Week of April 6th – April 12th: Happy Easter!

How was your Easter? Did you dye some eggs and the hide them for children to find? Or did you have a nice big family dinner? Or did you not even celebrate it? Whatever you did, I hope you at least played with some cute bunnies. Here are some cool shows coming up!

Monday, April 6th

Yellowcard with Finch, One OK Rock at The Granada 8 PM $24

Here’s that one band from when you were in high school that played kinda pop punk that had the one guy with the violin that had that one song that was played nonstop. Opening for them is that one band that was really popular around the same time but was a little more underground. Think about it real hard and you’ll probably remember them. Catch them at The Granada!

Leopold and His Fiction with The Ghost Wolves, The Feel Bad Hit, Modern Day Fitzgerald at Riot Room 8 PM $8

Tuesday, April 7th

Weedeater with King Parrot, Troglodyte, Circle of Trust, Keef Mountain at Riot Room 8 PM $15

Liturgy with Sannhet, Horse Lords at Record Bar 10 PM $14

So I’ll be honest with you. I really don’t like Liturgy. But I respect them for sticking to their guns (especially in the face of IMMENSE criticism) and continuing to expand and experiment with their sound. One of the most controversial and talked about “metal” bands, for the member beliefs and off-stage interviews just as much as their music, Liturgy is an enigma.
